thirty minutes and is a test of various scenarios and vocabulary that we have
covered this year. |
The Writing paper that is thirty
five minutes in duration. This is completed in class and you must write (without
any notes) on either school or free time.

The Reading and Grammar Examination
Vocabulary gathered from over the year. Concentrate on the vocabulary of the
classroom (what objects can one find there?), on the family and on hobbies and
interests.
Telling the time and time phrases.
Needed for all three exams.
E.g
Es ist halb vier (It is 3.30)
Es ist Viertel vor acht (It's a 1/4 to 8)
The following verbs will be tested:
essen, sein, haben, schlafen, fahren, helfen, lesen, waschen, finden, arbeiten,
sehen, aufwachen, aufstehen, einkaufen,
+ any normal, regular ones (e.g spielen)

Numbers to 100

Writing Exam Advice
You will have to write 100-120 words on EITHER school or your freetime.
You must consequently prepare both!
Here are two possible answers.
When writing your own, consider the various constructions used and see if you
can adapt them for youself.
E.g
Wenn ich mehr Geld hätte, würde ich jeden Tag zum Strand gehen.
( If I had more money, I would go to the beach every day)
Wenn ich mehr Geld hätte, würde ich _____________________
Now you can substitute you own ending (with verb at end)
(If I had more money, I would ___________)
